News From the Park!

Hiya! Come on in grab a beer or glass of wine if you prefer, sorry all we got is boxed, anyway grab a chair and let's gab about the latest news, gossip, books, and well more books.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by The Book Date

So it's been awhile, work and just life in general have been keeping me super busy. We've had 4 Covid scares in the past 2 months at work. Two came back negative and we're waiting on the other 2. Fingers crossed nothing comes of it. Our school also had a positive case thus far we have not been contacted and let know that the child(ren) was/were around C, but I think they're still doing the contact tracing. I think the not knowing is the most frustrating part.
I spent one of my days off this week walking around a few of the local cemeteries with the Hubby.

I love this one cause it's so creepy.

It was a beautiful day almost 70 degrees... in November... in New York. I don't know what was up with the warm snap but I'll take it. Honestly it could just stay in the high 50s, low 60's for the rest of Winter and I'd be happy. Of course we know that is not going to happen.
I spent the other day off getting caught up on stuff, since it was raining like crazy.

Have ya'll been enjoy the unseasonable warmth?

Anyway on to the real reason your here...

  5. We had unseasonably warm weather like that last week as well, although it's since reverted back to cold and rainy haha! And sorry to hear about the Covid scares. We've been having more cases to and our state (Michigan) just issued a new lockdown taking hold Wednesday. Yikes...

Hope you have a good week ahead!

    1. Same here, it's back to more seasonable weather and there is snow in the forecast. Bars and restaurants here have been put on a curfew. I have a feeling we're going to be going through the phases to close down again very soon. Stay safe and have a good week!

  7. Recent snow have made walking outside out of the picture for me. I don't like the cold or uncertain footing on snow-covered roads. I hope Covid stays away from you and your family. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

    1. We haven't had any snow that stuck yet, but it's coming I'm sure. I don't blame you on the cold and snow-covered roads. I hope so too. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

  8. Not knowing just suck, I hope you'll be tested negative. It's very warm here in France too, except today where it's just a little fresh, but with a beautiful sun and golden light. Thanks for the beer ;)
