News from the Park!

Hiya! Come on in grab a beer or glass of wine if you prefer, sorry all we got is boxed, anyway grab a chair and let's gab about the latest news, gossip, books, and well more books.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by The Book Date

This week was actually productive. I took a personal day so we could get our Jeep into the shop. Which meant we were stuck home so I managed to get several things done that I've been meaning to do and just haven't had the time. I also signed up for a 2 month trial of Amazon Unlimited, which may have been a mistake. Yet with Fall coming and all the stores starting to get out the Halloween stuff I've been in the mood for some spooky, naughty romance type books. But I'm also kinda shiftered out if you get my meaning. I'm really in the mood for something more ghostly but having trouble finding books that fit what I'm looking for. If ya'll have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Anyway on to the real reason your here...

  1. There is a super weird book by Tess Gerritsen called The Shape of Night. It has some super kinky sex with ghosts and a murder mystery. Might fit what you are looking for!

  2. I don't usually read ghost stories, but recently I read a spooky thriller called Home Before Dark, by Riley Sager.

Enjoy your week, and I hope you get everything done. Thanks for sharing. Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. I'm not into ghosts or scary so I have no suggestions. I'm deep into a number of mysteries and thrillers right now. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  4. I'm not big on ghosts unless they appear in a paranormal cozy mystery. I remember liking Gone with the Ghost by Erin McCarthy. I like Angie Fox's Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries series. Check out what I read.

  5. The only spooky naughty romance that springs to mind is something like Sookie Stackhouse series. I know what you mean, with Halloween approaching my reading list is getting lots of scary books added to it.

  6. I'll have to stick to my water for now--I have to go back to work. So not fair. LOL Halloween is not too far away, is it? I'm surprised my daughter hasn't asked if we could decorate yet.

I'm afraid I cannot really think of any naughty ghost romance novels. Mysteries, yes. I just finished a witch and vampire romance, which I really liked. Don't Hex and drive by Juliette Cross. You sure have me curious about mermen though. I'll have to check out the ones you have featured here. I hope you have a great week, SJ!
